Human communication between speakers of the same language is often a complex process. If, furthermore, the exchange is between people of diverse cultures the risk that the message is misunderstood increases.

In Paul Grice words, if we want out verbal interactions to be effective, we must use the precise quantity of information, the precise quality, ensure cooperation from our interlocutor and that they are related to the theme; and finally communicate in an efficient manner. Remember this idea, specially in your international communications!
